I think that top position and having financial security is better to start the D1 chart, if lagan lagnesh has connection with dhan and Labh houses and native has desire to grow for that upchay, agni and prithvi tatva connection is required. Malefics planets and signs makes life difficult but native won't let go of it easily where as benefic makes life easy. So going in a benefic Navamsha is just one part of it.
