Thank you so much for your response. As per your response I can relate your answer w.r..t competitive exams as I have been trying for so long but haven't been able to clear any. Continuing with my question.. sun (at 29 degree) is in 5th house along with ketu (30 degree) and mercury is at 7 degree. Also this mercury has lordship of both 6th and 9th house. so, what will be its effect on 9th house? Another question is that will I be able to clear any of the competitive exams or will this planetary situation keep bringing hurdles making me not clear any of the exams in future?

Mercury is retrograde so moving towards sun and ketu.. making vipreet Raj yog for 6th house matters.. as 6th lord is afflicted there.. so after repetitive attempts (retro effect) you will clear eventually ( vipreet Raj yog) but when it comes to 9th house matters.. 9th lord is afflicted in the 6th house and away from dig bal.. this is not nice... But still mercury has strength of retrogradation and in own sign... So bhagya unnati will happen after struggles. All the principles work hand in hand.

Venus in this chart is yoga karak as you know, placed the seventh house and making relationship with the lagan... it's very welcoming placement first of all.... don't pay attention to myrt and bala avastha it doesn't matter or doesn't work that way to check the strength of a planet.

If you had written degree of Ketu it would have been much easier for me to analyse but for solar eclipse moon should be with sun but moon is in the eighth house not with sun as you specified. moreover bhav chalit plays very important role as sun is in the ending degrees of the sign so maybe sun is shifting but considering that sun is in the fifth house only, so your eighth Lord has come to the fifth house and if you are of a student possibly you can do studies where research and going into depth of something is required can possibly show break in love life. Depending upon age, analysis will change.

For 5th and 10th House their Lord has come to the 7th... it can show that native is using their mind in making relationship or meeting other people and native's career can be related to 7th house where nurturing, caring , beautification, PR is involved ( just by this placement) Venus in the 7th house as 5th and 10th Lord can show that one can make relationship at the workplace or people you come across are very soft and good looking if Venus is not afflicted.

Then sun is placed in the Nakshatra of Mars mrigshira if Mars is well placed it is good for 4th and 11th house matters.

For above questions, ketu is at 30 degree in kritika 2 pada (lord-sun; sub lord-saturn, which is lagnesh being vargottam is placed in its own sign aquarius in 2nd house) and sun at 29 degree in jayestha 4 pada( lord- mercury placed in 6th house in gemini sign; sub lord- jupiter placed in 10th house in libra). Here ketu eclipse sun due to sun-ketu conjunction. Also lagna is at 1 degree 41 minute..

I am a student with masters degree in biotechnology. currently trying my luck in administrative job preperation since last 3 years. wanted to do phd which involves research but havent applied for that considering it will be hectic and felt i cant do that. should i go for a phd or keep preparing for govt jobs looking at the very first scenerio above? which path looks more promising for me, please guide mam?

Venus is i guess afflicted as it is aspected by the mars (bharni 3 pada; lord-venus) placed in 4th in aries and also by rahu(vishakha 4 pada: lord-jupiter) placed in 11th in scorpio but neech bhang of rahu is happening due to the 8th aspect of mars. Should i wear opal gemstone to give strength to venus? Will it help?
